Soya Bean Chunks

Soya chunks are created from soybeans during the extraction of soybean oil. These chunks are a defatted soy flour product, which results from the oil extraction process. Commonly known as meal makers, soya chunks undergo an extrusion process that alters their molecular structure, resulting in a texture that mimics meat.

Often referred to as vegetarian meat due to their similar characteristics, soya chunks have a protein content that rivals that of meat and a chewy texture that is quite comparable. They are recognized as the richest source of protein among vegetarian foods, containing approximately 50% protein.

Thanks to their nutritional advantages and health benefits, soy chunks and similar products have become increasingly popular around the globe.
